About Jim Womeldorf

Jim Womeldorf, L.M.T., received his initial massage therapy training at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics (Albuquerque) in 1987. Since then, he has received extensive training in various bodywork modalities, including St. John Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Hakomi Body-Centered Psychotherapy and Sports Massage. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Counseling in 1991.

After practicing Sports Massage at the Vail Athletic Club and Crossroads to Health in Grand Junction (Colorado), as well as rehabilitative Neuromuscular Therapy at the Physical Therapy Center in Grand Junction, Jim took an extended hiatus from his successful massage therapy practice to pursue a career in nonprofit management supporting people with disabilities in San Luis Obispo, CA and Montrose, CO. Now retired from social work, his current massage therapy practice enables him to work closely once again with people in their quest for better health.

Other passions of Jim's include hiking, cross-country skiing, biking, solo guitar, and photography.  Jim and his wife have nurtured Welsh Corgis for many years.
